September 2022 Meeting Agenda
Updated: Nov 15, 2022
It’s happening, it’s finally happening! Spring has sprung and we now find ourselves a mere week away from our next CoP meeting on Wednesday, the 14th of September from 1:30pm – 2:30pm AEST.
Here is a short agenda for next Wednesday:
Housekeeping / Open Discussion
If you would like to make any announcements or raise an especially topical issue, let us know beforehand or just sing out in Teams when we open this section.
Ask the Brains Trust
REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a data collection platform that is widely used within health research due to its security and flexibility.
Wendy Wong from Eastern Health Library Service – herself a CoP member – has very kindly agreed to provide a demo of REDCap, with some time for questions and discussion afterwards.
Systematic reviews: How confident are we?
At our last meeting we were too busy with other topics to get to this one: our level of confidence when it comes to advising on and/or performing searches for systematic reviews (SRs). Questions to get you thinking:
What level of involvement do you have in SRs?
Are you expected to work individually on SRs or part of a team?
Do you feel you receive enough training?
Any training/PD recommendations?
We’re looking forward to seeing you again 😊
